2009 Wine & Food Society Member Cook Print

I've been cooking at these dinners for many years, and those of us who do so keep coming back.  It's challenging and rewarding and the results are usually terrific.  You can see the menu here.

 

The Cellar Committee once again held a silent auction to sell off some odd lots of wine left over from dinners during the year and I was fortunate enough to take home 9 bottles of champagne for Sue.  

My friend Tony Rubino helped me prepare my course--Chilled Avocado Soup with Creme Fraiche and Dungeness Crab.  It was all great fun, besides being great food and wine.  Photos are available for viewing here.
